Model 350/355/360 - Hinged Entry Door
The Model 350/355/360 hinged entry door is elegant in design yet rugged and durable. It is ideal for use on finer yachts as well as commercial vessels. Its all aluminum construction and stainless steel lockset are suitable for the marine environment where a solid weathertight door is required. The door is provided with either mitered or radiused corners, and is available in either a solid panel (Mod. 350), Dutch door (Mod. 355), or French door (Mod. 360) configuration. This rugged 1 5/16" thick door is a sandwich construction of aluminum doorskins bonded to heavy stiles with structural adhesive. The interior spaces are filled with a polymer core. The hollow door frame design is not easily distorted during installation and serves to capture and drain any water entering via the latch holes out through weep holes at the base. An interior clamp ring makes installation simple by clamping the bulkhead between itself and the door frame, thereby eliminating fasteners on the exterior face of the door. Bulkheads of 1/2" to 1 1/2" are suitable for clamping.
A 1/4" tempered glass window is provided in several optional shapes including upper window, full window or split window configurations.
SEALS and HARDWARE
The primary door seal is a foamed rubber D-seal which forms a continuous ring around the inside of the door frame. A secondary tubular anti-splash seal surrounds the exterior perimeter of the door to deflect water in heavy seas and during washdown. This double seal design keeps the door weathertight in all but the harshest conditions.
A TrioVing Mod. 5316 stainless steel lockset is standard . An FR&C Mod. 203 or GSV Mod. 4040Z lockset is available as an option. This door may be hung with a continuous polished stainless steel hinge, a continuous aluminum painted hinge, or from polished stainless steel butt hinges.
